Tour itinerary: Christchurch - Milford Sound
- Fox Glacier - Franz Josef Glacier - Rainforest
and Glacier - Trans Alpine rail - Christchurch
Day 1: Christchurch - Mt Cook - Queenstown
Bord on a bus in Christchurch and travel along
the Southern Alps, past Lake Tekapo and Lake
Pukaki to arrive at Mount Cook Village, where
we stop for lunch. Continue along the picturesque
Lindis Pass and the Kawarau Gorge strong in
Queenstown. Overnight at Queenstown.
Day 2: day excursion to Milford Sound
Coach trip to the Fiordland National Park. This
World Heritage Park is famous for its wild landscape
of thick forests, streams, waterfalls, snow-capped
peaks, glaciers, fjords, islands, valleys and
lakes. Take Te Anau and the tunnel Homer Eglinton
valley to arrive at Milford Sound. Here you
can have an enjoyable cruise on Milford Sound
and Mitre Peak and see waterfalls around you.
Back in Queenstown to spend the night.
Day 3: Queenstown - Glaciers
Coach trip by Cromwell, Wanaka and Hawea, if
the reader Haast Pass and arrive at Westland
National Park. Then we see the Franz Josef Glacier
and can explore the surrounding woods. Overnight
at each Franz Josef Glacier and Fox Glacier.
Day 4: The glaciers - Christchurch
Council of the coach and see Greymouth beautiful
landscape of thick forests and along your journey.
Check-in Greymouth and aboard the TranzAlpine
train. Travel on the west coast to the east
along the coast Arthur 's Pass National Park,
see the Southern Alps, the Waimakariri Gorge,
Canterbury Plains and arrive in Christchurch
at the end of your Magical New Zealand Tour.
