Despite
less than a thousand years of habitation, New
Zealand has been able to preserve its identity
in the Pacific islands full of natural resources
and colors. The merger of Europe, Asia, and Pacific
cultures with that of Maori culture has much to
do with much of New Zealand continuing to be untouched
by human activities.
The geothermal activity created a nation from
the ocean. A series of beautiful islands dotted

The natural sounds are reflected even through
its landscape within fourteen spectacular national
parks. Encapsulated within this vast natural environment
is the true heritage of New Zealand for all to
see and appreciate.
